Happy Imbolc!

We’re reflecting on our winter lessons and getting ready for Spring.

The militantly feminist day planner I use says this about Imbolc:

Together let us move from a space of restoration to a place of connection, celebration, and exploration. Now is the time to begin to flesh out our insights after a time of deep recuperation…In alignment with the spirit of our plantcestors, soon we will begin to access our potential energy and utilize that momentum to push through any obstacles around us to reach the light at the surface.

Imbolc is the last of the winter pagan holidays, as the next holiday, Ostara, the Spring Equinox, is the official start of the light half of the year here in the Northern Hemisphere.

Imbolc means just a few more weeks of the coldest cold. The vibes are hopeful. After all, Spring and warm and green are just around the corner. It honors all of the rest and hibernation we’ve been doing since Yule while gently ushering us into the new season and growth to come.
